How to Draw Midna Step by Step TUTORIAL

Hey everyone! Today I'1000 not doing a typical post, simply on multiple occasions I've been asked how I describe (Twili) Midna. Well, I'll testify y'all how, but delight deport in mind that this is non the "fix in stone" way. Everybody does things a bit differently, so, if you do attempt a Midna drawing, please don't view my mode every bit the simply mode, thank y'all! :)

Step ii.

I depict Midna'south hair and cloak next. It helps the get the shape of the face and so I can look dorsum on it when I'one thousand drawing the body. Keep in heed to make edits whenever you want. All of this is technically a rough sketch and is liable to modify. Make certain the cloak comes to a bespeak on the top of her caput!

Step 3.

Kickoff cartoon the shoulders and cervix. It's ok if the shoulders aren't equally spaced since it'south non actually noticeable if they aren't (for the most role.) Also, make certain you are cartoon LIGHTLY. That way if you do make a mistake, where you lot made a mistake won't be visable.

Step 4.

I start calculation in the facial feature like the optics and eyebrows. Getting the eyes, non only the same size, but looking the aforementioned too can exist tricky. It takes lots a practise, but a trick I have (only I personally don't do anymore) is to draw one heart and so take a ruler and draw two lines, straight across from the centre yous merely drew. The lines can be used as a height mark when it comes to drawing the other center. (the nose is just a simple line drawn downwardly)

Step five.

Draw the lips. Midna has "plump" lips, and then I drew them slightly parted so you tin can see that the bottom lip is bigger than the pinnacle. I added lines to the bottom lip every bit emphasis.

Step 6.

Going dorsum, I started adding more to Midna's hair, namely the two strand just to a higher place her centre. They are rectangle in shape, and so employ that as a guide. I then continued Midna's hair below the base of her neck. Midna's crown is catchy. Step 8.

Showtime cleaning upward any areas that just don't seem right to you. Re-depict areas until yous are satisfied. Anyway, Midna has a… "curvier" physique, so continue that in mind when drawing her chest and hips. I had Midna with her arms to her sides because I want this to be a "simple" drawing and I didn't desire her hitting a pose.  (She kinda looks nervous…? XD )

Midna'southward cloak is a whole different story, entirely, merely if you guys want, I can do a tutorial on how to draw that as well. Anyway, for her peak half the only colors you'd be working with are orange, copper, yellow, black, reddish, a light purple and a lite greyness.
